Eric B. Kane, 35, of Elmhurst, was charged with deceptive practice, a Class 4 felony. He also is charged with driving with a revoked license and driving without insurance.

The charges against the above individuals are not a proof of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial in which it is the state’s burden to prove his or her guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
