PEORIA – Much like a marathon, a state cross country meet has as many stories as there are runners. Success, to modify a phrase, is in the eye of the beholder.
ELBURN – Kaneland cross country runners continue to crow about a banner accomplishment nearly two decades in the making. It will not take as long for them to stop.
