GENEVA – The St. Charles North girls tennis team swept singles play on Monday against Geneva, keying a 4-3 Upstate Eight Conference River dual meet victory against the Vikings.

The Geneva boys golf team’s unbeaten regular-season run through Upstate Eight Conference River dual meets gives the Vikings a bit of breathing room entering today’s conference meet at St. Andrews – but just a smidge.

WEST CHICAGO – A coat of medium thickness hindering her play not in the least, Abby Luchtenburg curved a 20-foot birdie putt into the cup on the first hole at St. Andrews Golf & Country Club. Then, after munching on a few bites of a sandwich, she calmly drove the fairway on No. 2.
